Agricultural Biotechnology Park at Pingtung is the world's only professional agricultural science park covers an area of up to 340 hectares. Planning to adopt a global perspective, the overall national strength of support for both research and development, production and marketing, processing and trade of multi-purpose platform; its planning covers a full range of office, production, storage and transportation and research and development and leisure functions will be the irreplaceable competitive advantage for the industries which are stationed in. The park is located at Pingtung County, and it is estimated to accommodate the maximum number of companies scheduled for the 120 in the future, at least to achieve up to 18 billion NTD and to offer 8,000 job opportunities. "ATP" is planned to become not only for planning research and development, production and marketing, processing and transfer functions in order to speed up the formation of agricultural science and technology industry clusters, the expansion of high value-added products for export, but also for counseling the neighboring farms into the satellite farms for the development of agricultural high-tech industry center. It is surrounded by a number of well-known University of Science and Technology, Agricultural research institutions, and rich tourism resources and unique human landscape such as Tajen University and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Banana research Institute, the Kaohsiung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, Kenting National Park, Ta-Wu, the Tropical Agricultural Fair, the Maolin National Park, and so on. With the rich resources, it is very convenient for business running or staff training and leisure spending.

＊North Da-wu Mountain: as one of "The Five Sacred Mountains of Taiwan", located at the junction of Majia township and Taiwu Township in Pingtung County, Jinfong Township in Taitung County, and the southern tip of the main ridge of the Central Mountain Range, with an elevation of 3092 meters, first-class triangle is the only peak that more than 3000 meters above the mountain in southern Taiwan. Therefore, there is a title "the shield in southern Taiwan." It is called as the "Holy Mountain" recently.

＊Tropical Agricultural Fair: Pingtung Tropical Agricultural Fair is located near the Haifeng farm which is under the Changjhih interchange in Pingtung County. There are different theme activities each year. It is a good place for people to spend their leisure time

＊Kenting National Park: Kenting National Park was established in January 1984, which is first national park of Taiwan. It is the National Park which faces the sea on three sides, covering the land and the sea at the same time. The special land and sea location of the tropical climate coupled with the catalyst, developing a rich and varied ecological appearance. There are a large number of migratory birds coming from the north for the winter every year, and the number of sight, undersea coral landscape is magnificent as well.

＊Tajen University: formerly as the Tajen medicine professionals, it was promoted to Tajen University of Technology in August of 2005. Since its foundation, it has been consistently placing emphasis on leaching the long-term goal to become the modern Arcadia of the four great ambitions, such as "the establishment of a Healthy, management, leisure, social welfare."

＊National Pingtung University of Science and Technology: Currently NPUST has a total of 24 departments and 27 graduate institutes offering Master's degrees and 5 Doctoral programs. These departments and graduate institutes are distributed among four colleges: agriculture, engineering, management, and humanities and social sciences. Moving towards specialized research university, NPUST actively pursues her academic excellence to become one of the key academic bastions in the Asia-Pacific Region. In addition to offering lectures in Chinese, NPUST also offers 106 credit hours of courses in English. ＊Taiwan Banana research Institute: aiming for improving production and marketing of bananas in order to enhance the production and marketing development of bananas. The research is including the scope of the study for the diseases and insect and pests control of banana plant, improving varieties of banana, cultivating healthy development technology of banana seedlings, improving the management of manure and the centralization of collection, and the education for the banana farmers.

＊Kaohsiung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station: The Station is responsible for crop improvement and extension activities for Kaohsiung, Pintung and Penghu Counties. It is responsible for agricultural extension education, farm management and marketing, and publication of agricultural information materials. The major crops in the district are rice, beans, fruit trees, vegetables and flowers crops, mango, wax-apple, litchi, Indian jujube, papaya and pineapple are the major tropical fruit crops in this region.

＊Maolin National Park: Maolin is situated in Maolin Township, the southeast mountains in Kaohsiung County. It covers 6 townships such as Taoyuen Twonship, Liouguei Township, Majia Township, Sandimen style="margin-top:28px;"Township, Wutai Township. Because of the scenic views of nearby peaks in the Central Mountain Range and the traditional culture of Rukai aboriginal people, the Maolin area has many distinctive natural features of its own; including meander, waterfalls, gorges, mountain streams, refined arts and handicrafts, traditional slate houses, hand-built suspension bridges, and active hot springs. Maolin is becoming the tourist attraction in southern Taiwan.
